50 Cent Starter Wives

50 Cent Starter Wives, Tashera Simmons may have indirectly confirmed that 50 Cent got her show “Starter Wives Confidential” yanked from TLC.
Once word got out that “Starter Wives Confidential” would only be aired online, 50 Cent headed to Twitter to take credit for the network’s move......s2smagazine.

Now Tashera is speaking up about the cancelation and indirectly points the finger at 50. “I am very disappointed by the sequence of events that has taken place in the last week. It’s disheartening that the show was cancelled after two episodes due to many inflated egos,” she said in a statement.

Tashera is flabbergasted that the show was pulled after just a few weeks on the air and she calls TLC’s actions “unheard of and completely unorthodox.” Most of all, she’s disappointed about all of the resources that were wasted–not just the millions of dollars that were required for production but also all the hours of work.

Beyond that, DMX’s soon to be estranged wife believes that this would never have happened if the show were about the cast’s famous exes.

“It’s hard to believe that there are still some fundamental issues in our society about women speaking up or having a voice,” Tashera wrote. “It’s okay for rappers to get on television and tell their story about how many times they were shot or how they were heavily in the drug game, but it’s not okay for women to share their story about their life experiences.”

While some of the cast members were clearly still stuck on their old loves, and others were coping with hurt feeling, the common thread was that all of the women were moving forward. It’s a story that Tashera believes could have been something wonderful for the viewers.

“‘Starter Wives Confidential’ was more than a show about bitter or entitled women it was about a group of women stepping out of the shadows of their ex’s and finding their way in life personally and professionally,” Tashera explained.

This certainly won’t be the last anyone sees of Tashera, though! Her son Xavier, who is working on his own rap career, will be featured on a forthcoming episode of “Iyanla Vanzant: Fix My Life.”

Tashera is also working on a memoir titled “Finding Tashera”, and there’s chatter that she may make a movie based on her tumultuous marriage to DMX.
