Denver thong bandit

Denver thong bandit, He’s been nicknamed the Denver “Thong Bandit” by police and he’s giving women in the city an unwanted eyeful. The Denver Police department is investigating reports of a man they are calling the “Thong Bandit.”

The suspect has been approaching females in the Sloan’s Lake area and exposing himself in a thong.......inquisitr.

Witnesses have described the Denver “Thong Bandit” as a Caucasian or Hispanic male between the ages of 20 and 40. According to police, the man usually enters an alley while fully clothed and disrobes down to a thong in front of his victims. Commander Paul Pazen of the Denver Police Department has confirmed that four separate encounters with the “Thong Bandit” have been reported during the previous two weeks.

“We’re looking for an individual who we have titled the ‘Thong Bandit,’” Pazen told NBC News. “He is fully clothed somewhere in the mouth of an alley, will disrobe down to a thong and expose himself further in front of female citizens in northwest Denver.”

According to local authorities, Denver’s “Thong Bandit” made his first appearance in the area late last summer. There had been no additional incidents until the four recent thong sightings, leading police to speculate that the suspect avoids exposing himself during colder months.

Now that Denver’s “Thong Bandit” has allegedly resurfaced, authorities have assembled teams to locate the man before he can do further harm. They are relying on the suspect’s pattern repetition to help track him down. “We look for patterns – day of week, time of day, weather conditions – to see if we could guess when an individual will try to perpetrate a crime,”

Commander Pazen explained to NBC News. “It’s very difficult to try to guess what a human being is thinking, and here, those challenges are even greater when you have somebody who thinks it’s OK to run around in a thong.” Police are asking citizens for assistance in identifying the alleged thong flasher. Individuals that may come in contact with the suspect are encouraged to ensure their safety first and then report the situation to 911.

The department has indicated that using a cell phone camera to photograph the suspect could help identify Denver’s “Thong Bandit” for future apprehension, but advise that this should only be an option if it does not compromise safety. What would you do if you came face-to-face with Denver’s “Thong Bandit”?
