Reese Witherspoon Children, The Oscar-winning actress gave birth to her third child, son Tennessee James Toth, in Los Angeles on Thursday, her rep told People.

This is the first child for Witherspoon and her husband, whom she wed at her Ojai, Calif. home in March 2011. The actress, 36, is already mom to daughter Ava, 12, and son Deacon, 8, from her previous marriage with actor Ryan Phillippe, which ended in 2006 after seven years.

Though her burgeoning baby bump was quite visible during her public appearances over the spring and summer, Witherspoon stayed mum on her pregnancy.

“Frankly, I’m feeling very round,” she told reporters in June. Witherspoon had always expressed her desire to have children one day, sources said.

"Right after the wedding, Reese expressed a desire to have a baby with Jim," a source told People in March.
“All along, Reese has been very open with her kids about her plans to expand the family. Especially [BECAUSE]Ava is at a sensitive age, Reese always makes sure to consult with her. She is very respectful of Ava's feelings."
